When Alpina started in the early 1980s they
immediately had a hit with the M1 - the industrial
looking frame with 19 screws attaching the gloss
trim to the face - helped along the way no doubt
by
endorsement from Stevie Wonder. This though is
the M6 which came out in 1987 and it is the first
one we've had to offer, such is the rarity. Again,
gold trim held in place by numerous studs over a
heavy black metal frame in an angular aviator
design. Could be made into sunglasses. A large
frame, 60mm lenses, so perhaps a men's frame.
I wonder....Stevie?
