• Almost complete circles, this small frame dating
  
  from the 1920's or 30's has no maker's mark so
  
  no doubt hand-made, possibly a bespoke order by
  
  an optician for their client. The seven charnier hinges
  
  are pinned through front and sides and the joints are
  
  mitred, both signs of quality frame making - as is the
  
  hand shaped bridge to allow for a comfortable fit. As
  
  we say, it is small so would suit a woman or a man -
  
  but check size before you buy.
