info

"Paris creates the world's finest fashions....so does

Paris Eyewear"
- so said Sigmund Serney, CEO and

chief designer of Paris Eyewear. He started in Paris

and went on to open offices in New York and London.

This pair appears in their Sunglasses catalogue from 1967

- however we found it fitted with prescription lenses which

is why we are offering it as a frame. Of course, you can

have it fitted with sunglasses lenses - but this way you

have options. As you can see, the frame is made from a

sheet of checkerboard acetate - you can tell looking at

the inside of the rims - which would have been very

expensive at the time.
