• As we have revealed previously, Oliver Goldsmith was
  
  fond of collaborations with Italian optical companies
  
  - see below for the pair he had made with F.I.L.O.S. -
  
  and here he is again working with another Italian maker,
  
  Errebi. Initially Goldsmith went to Errebi to have the
  
  sides made for his range of Goldside frames, but he then
  
  ventured into full plastic frames with them. This pair
  
  typical of a Goldsmith design, with plenty going on and
  
  beautifully crafted. Looks to be mid-late 60s, sunken
  
  joints in the front and pinnned on the sides. We don't
  
  know much about Errebi, except that they were around
  
  in 1954, when this trade card was printed. This frame in
  
  excellent conditon.
