info
Kadima was a brand name for a plastic manufacturing company
from Madrid called Industrias del Celuloide, S.A, formed in
1966. One of many great optical makers from Spain who made
wild designs like these in what was the Franco period. This
pair called Pinky - maybe as it only came in this colour - as it
is a sort of what used to be called fleshtone. But the standout
aspect of this pair is the size and shape - it is very wide so
perfect for those who like a larger frame. And the shape is a
slightly upswept rectangle, the lenses tapering slightly
larger to the sides. The translucent frame and mid-tone
lenses mean that this large format frame does not look
heavy on, so a well thought out design. We found it never
having been worn so in great condition.
