info
Large format 70s sunglasses that we managed to find unworn.
Beautiful shape and design, a flate, wide frame, not unlike
those worn by Miles Davis at the time. So maybe
Betty wore
them. Lenses retain sticker declaring the frame to be hand made
and the lenses 'filtered', which at the time was a popular selling
point, as the sun's harsh rays were advertised as bad for skin
and eyes alike. The lenses are a mid-tint as was popular in
the early-70s when we believe these were made. The frame is
pinned with slightly raised rectangular plaques, front and
sides, using 5 charnier joints, so very good quality.
